    SCHOOL OF DISCIPLESHIP
    The School of Discipleship is an intentional strategy to help unbelievers investigate Christianity and believers become authentic fully devoted followers of Christ. The School of Discipleship involves various core classes coupled with elective classes and practical ministry training.

    SPRING SEMESTER: April 13, 2008 ~ June 15, 2008

    Alpha Course
    Sundays at 9:00am
    Alpha is an exciting course where people come together to share some refreshments, discuss a life-impacting topic, and make friends in a relaxed, non-threatening setting. Alpha is for everyone but especially geared for people investigating Christianity and newcomers.

    Membership 101 Course (prerequisite: Alpha Course)
    Sundays at 9:00am
    This course outlines the philosophy of ministry we embrace at Seacoast Chapel. Basically explaining what our Biblical mission is and how we are attempting to accomplish it. The 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God, which are the guiding doctrines of our church are also reviewed and discussed.

    Maturity 201 Course: Celebration of Disciplines
    Jesus taught his disciples to live with love, joy, purpose and power. If you're willing to slow down, embrace the disciplines that Scripture teaches and trust God you'll discover your life really can be transformed into the image of Christ. This course examines and challenges participants to implement Scriptural spiritual disciplines in their lives.

    Ministry 301 Course: Discovering your Gifts
    Sundays at 9:00am
    Ministry 301 is a dynamic course to help Christians understand who God has uniquely made them to be and mobilize them to a place of meaningful service in at Seacoast Chapel. Each participant in Ministry 301 will work through a series of assessments which leads them to discover their unique blend of spiritual gifts, personal style, and ministry passion.

    Mission 401 Course: Becoming a Contagious Christian
    (offered during Fall Semester)

    Becoming a Contagious Christian is a proven course designed to equip believers for effective evangelism in today's world. It avoids stereotyped approaches that feel intimidating to many Christians. Instead, it shows ordinary believers how they can share the Gospel in a natural and powerful way while begin the person God made them to be.

    Elective Course: Good Sense Financial Course
    Sundays at 9:00am
    (Cost $10.00 for workbook) Good-Sense is a field-tested, proven resource for teaching, training, and changing lives and hearts in the area of finances. Good $ense can help relive the crushing stress and anxiety caused by consumer debt, restore marriages torn by conflict over money, heal wounded self esteem and shattered confidence resulting from poor financial decisions, and remove stumbling blocks to spiritual growth. Rich Ganong will be teaching the Good Sense course on Sundays at 9:00 am at Seacoast Chapel.
