Where Can I SERVE?

You have God-given gifts…we have opportunities! We believe that everyone can and should be actively serving in the church. Whatever your gifts are, Seacoast Chapel wants to help you develop and use them for God’s purposes.  Seacoast Chapel is an active church with many ways to serve.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10-11

“All human beings, including you and me, give their lives to something. Between this day and your last day, you will give your life to something. The only question is, what will you give your life to? Will it be worthy? (John Ortberg)

Administration/Office Support

In a growing church, like Seacoast Chapel, keeping the administrative aspects coordinated is always important.  If you enjoy bringing order to organizational chaos, and if organizing people, tasks and events is something you’re good at, we can put you to work.

Media & Technology

In an age of widespread technology, we work hard at utilizing these tools for ministry. Video is used during our weekly worship service to project worship lyrics and sermon starters. In addition, all of our weekly sermons are uploaded to the “media” page on this website. We also maintain an active Facebook feed for additional church communication. If you enjoy working with computers check out this ministry.

Missions Outreach

Seacoast Chapel is thrilled to be part of local and world missions.  Each year, teams from our church travel to to assist our missionaries in practical projects and evangelistic outreach. We encourage everyone to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means attending a short term missions projects, financially supporting full-time missionaries or helping with local outreaches in our own community.

For those who love babies and toddlers, the nursery is for you. Our toddler nursery is staffed by  screened approved nursery workers. Our workers see the time together as much more then just “baby sitting” rather its a time to share Jesus with the children. (Prerequisite: membership, reducing the risk training & background check)

Small Groups

We believe a small group provides the optimal environment for the life change Jesus Christ intends for every believer.  Primary because they foster significant Christ-centered relationships along with practical application of Biblical truth.  We have groups for men, ladies, couples, teens and a host of others.  Because this is such a pervasive and expanding ministry at Seacoast Chapel, we’re always looking for additional leaders/facilitators and hosts.  If you are a growing believer and enjoy people, this just might be your ministry.

Student Ministries

If you enjoy working with teens, then Student Ministries could put you to work.  Leaders are needed to help lead teen small groups and serve as chaperones during retreats/conventions. (Prerequisite: membership, reducing the risk training & background check)

Ushers & Greeters

The usher team at Seacoast Chapel fills an important role. They are involved in helping to direct guests, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, answering questions, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free.

Worship

If you sing, play an instrument, or have experience in the area of sound, you’ll find a lot of opportunities to use your gifts with the worship team.
